Mikko Paakkonen
Mikko Paakkonen is an informalist and abstract painter whose works have form as a central theme. Interest and inspiration in his work come from asemic writing, mark-making, and traditional abstract expressionism combined with traces seen in the urban space.
Paakkonen holds a Master’s degree from the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki 2022. Before attending the Academy of Fine Arts, Paakkonen studied and graduated from the Arts Academy in Turku. He has exhibited his works in solo shows in Finland and abroad and participated in numerous collective and group exhibitions in Finland.
